This Is Our Story

Fossil Fanatic was started by someone who was and still is a fossil fanatic!
What started with a passion for the Natural World turned into an ever-growing fossil collection a true dream come true with fossils sitting proudly from exotic locations around the world.  
One day, we started to think... what if people were able to unearth their own fossils from Morocco or the USA without having to leave their home? Imagine, discovering your own Spinosaurus tooth or piece of Alligator jaw destined to be yours forever! From there, the idea of our excavation kits was born. 
In the winter of 2022, we went live with our Etsy store and in April the following year we attended our first craft fair which became a ROARING success! A first appearance at the famous Lyme Regis Fossil Festival soon followed
