Jurassic World Rebirth- Our thoughts (no spoilers)!

Growing up in 90's I was very much a child of the old school original Jurassic Park classics era. Who didn't watch the original Jurassic Park and not come away from it with a feeling of awe and wonder?

Jurassic World Rebirth is probably the closest of the modern era to recapturing those feelings of wonder, suspense, and fear with no one certain of making it out alive. There are certainly moments that capture the imagination. The Spinosaurs ' return to the big screen certainly brings excitement, while a certain Titanosaur scene stirs up the feeling of nostalgia.

Rather disappointingly, in our opinion, however, was the idea of genetically mutant dinosaurs. While we definitely understood the idea that not all the genetic work may have worked, the resulting creations left us feeling as if we were watching a monster movie rather than a true Jurassic movie.

That being said, it is still an entertaining couple of hours and has enough "Jurassic" moments to feel like there's still life in the franchise yet. These are just my thoughts, though, and while some may agree, others may disagree. Such is the beauty of having your own opinion, and we would love to hear your thoughts.
