A 5.2cm long Enchodus tooth from the nicknamed "Sabre-toothed Herring", despite the name, Studies have shown it is closer related to salmon, lizard fish, and lancet fish.
Enchodus lybicus reached between 1.5-2 meters in length, and while a fearsome predator in its own right, it would also have been prey for the larger sharks and mosasaurs who also inhabited the Late Cretaceous oceans around what is now known as Morocco.
