A beautiful piece of the oldest rock in the UK!  These rocks are found in northwestern Scotland and date between 1-3 billion years old! 
 
This piece has a stunning green colouration, which comes from the inclusion of minerals such as epidote and chlorite.  
 
The length of the specimen is 4.5 cm in length.
